We have collected frequently asked questions. Please check before using or making a reservation.

You can choose All day rental only for both rental bicycle and scooter.

All day rental is from 8:30am to 5:00pm.


E-bikes and e-scooters cannot be used by two people. 

You can use a single ride only.

Riding with a child or in a baby carrier is not allowed.

We rent only 26-inch electric bicycles.


We do not rent the other type bicycles. 

e.g. children's bicycles, bicycles with child seats, or regular bicycles.

We have height/ weight restrictions on our rentals.

We are unable to rent to any person who falls under any of the following categories.


・e-bike

Height: 145cm or less, 190cm or more

(Inseam: 65cm or less, 100cm or more)

Weight: 100 kg or more

 No one under the age of 8 years old


・e-schooter

Weight: 90 kg or more

For safety reasons, we do not allow rentals for those who have no experience driving a motorcycle or are unfamiliar with driving.

The e-scooter is equipped with a total of 2 connected batteries. The one and a spare one battery.

The batteries can be replaced in our shop.

The outer circumference of Teshima is 12 km, and all art viewing is approximately 16 km.

It is possible to travel approximately 20 km or more with 2 batteries.

However, this will vary greatly depending on road conditions, driving mode, driving style, temperature, weight of the vehicle, etc. 

For example, if you weigh 80 kg or more,

the speed will be extremely slow on the uphill.

Please note that the road to the Teshima Art Museum is mostly uphill.

Considering the customer's safety, when we judge that it is impossible to drive we may refuse the rental even if you have made a reservation. 

If it rains and winds after the rental, our staff will not be able to come to your location to pick up the e-bike or e-scooter. 

Please be sure to return all rental items by 5:00pm.

Payment will be made on our shop on the day.

We are a cashless payment shop.

Cash payment is not accepted.

If you are using with several guests, please make a payment by one customer of the group.

To change the reservation time/date or cancel, please access the reservation confirmation page from the URL provided in the confirmation email before 30minutes of your reservation at the latest.

We are not able to respond to telephone calls.

If you are unable to complete the reservation procedure on the web, please be sure to contact us by e-mail.

Please do not cancel without notice.

If you do not contact us within 30 minutes of your appointment, we will consider it as a cancellation.


Reservations will be accepted until the middle of the month prior to your reservation date. 

Please check our Instagram for the start date of accepting reservations.

We do not charge cancellation fees for individual reservations for 1 to 6 guests.

Group reservations, 7 to 12 guests cancellation fees are as follows.

100%  charge : on the day before the reservation / the day of the reservation

However, no cancellation fee will be charged in case of ship cancellation or bad weather.

Group reservation is ofcourse available.

Group reservation for us is for 7 or more guests.

Reservations for up to 6 people can be made online by clicking the "BOOK NOW" button.

Reservations for 7 or more people up to 12 (bicycles) and 7 or more people up to 10 (scooters) will be a group reservation.

For group reservations, please check the user's guide first and contact us by using the "Contact Us" form.

If you are an agent, please also contact us via "Contact Us" form.

We will contact you as soon as possible.

You will receive a "Reservation Completion E-mail" after completing the reservation process.

If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail after about 5 minutes, 

it is possible that the reservation process has not been completed.

If your registered e-mail address is a cell phone e-mail address, 

you may not be able to receive the e-mail depending on your reception settings. 

Please add the domain name of this site to your receiving settings.
